My Big Father Movie Review

After getting much experience as associate director, S.P Mahesh has made his debut film Changathi Poocha featuring Jayasurya, Radhika and Ramya Nambishan. Mahesh P. Srenivasan's new venture My Big Father has created much hype as it feature Guinness Pakru as Jayaram's father.

This film deals with the father son relationship (yet another time). Jayaram the son of Guinness Pakru lives happily and does anything for his father. As the father is too short, Jayaram decides to marry a girl who won't laugh at his male parent. Then he meets Kaniha. The punch is the back story of Jayaram and his father just before interval.

The film has Kaniha as the spouse of Jayaram. She does an average performance. Others in the cast like Innocent, Jagathy and all are just forgettable. The script is weak and the characters one dimensional. Apart from a few funny quotes from Suraj and Saleem Kumar this film hasn't lived up to the expectation of audience.


Jayaram seems to be going back to pre Veruth Oru Bharya era.

Pakru is Mani's son

After donning the role of Jayaram's father in the movie ‘My Big Father’, Pakru popularly known as Guinness Pakru is all set to start his new film in which he will appear as the son to Kalabhavan Mani. The new movie titled as ‘Achan Baalan, Makan Bheeman’, directed by debutante K K Kailas will have Mani and Pakru as the father and son. The movie will feature ‘Naadodikal’ fame Ananya as the heroine. Biju Thevarmadom is in charge of the scripts in the base humorous thread by Sabeer.

Meanwhile ‘My Big Father’ has already called pack up to the final shoot schedule. The movie, another humour filled family drama, is directed by Mahesh P Sreenivas and will feature Kanika as the heroine.

Guinness Pakru as Jayaram's father

The smallest actor of Mollywood cinema, Guinness Pakru will don the role of father to Jayaram's character. This will happen in the new movie titled as ‘My Big Father’ directed by Mahesh P Sreenivasan.

Pakru is acting as a specialist in biriyani making named Kunjumon. Jayaram is Albie, his son with whom Kunjumon runs a catering service. Scripted by Satheesh K Sivan and Suresh Menon, this movie will be produced by Time Ads. Scheduled to start its shoot by the first week of August at Ernakulam, the movie will get completed after shooting at locations in Goa and Pondicherry.

This is Mahesh's second film, the first being Jayasuriya starrer ‘Changathypoocha’ -an average fare at the Box Office.

Undapakru as hero in a new Malayalam film

Undapakru, who is now known also as Guinness Pakru (real name Ajayakumar), will be playing the lead in Little Lothar, an investigative flick to be directed by Reji Mathew.

The film will feature script by Reji Mathew, lyrics by Rajeev Alunkal, music by Job Kuruvila, and cinematography by Vinod Illampally. To be produced by Rejikumar, Bimal Mathew and Renju Nair Dubai under the banner of Great Image, Little Lothar will also have Babu Antony, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Bheeman Reghu and Jaffer Idukki in key roles.
